EXPRESSIVE DESIGN: CREATIVE DISTINCTION THROUGH INNOVATIVE PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES
In today’s highly competitive marketplace, survival is dependent upon the ability to make an impact. Designers need to think more strategically and to experiment more from a production standpoint. Throughout the workshop, alternative materials and innovative production techniques will be introduced in inventive combinations. The use of unconventional surfaces and printing techniques, unique constructions, folds and die-cuts, interesting bindings, fasteners and wraps, alternative add-ons and signature treatments will be explored. This highly visual presentation by author and artist Lisa L. Cyr will enable creative professionals, both seasoned and newcomers, to confidently employ alternative design approaches and techniques into their work.
