It’s a time of immense change. Uncertainty abounds and I embarking

onto uncharted territory.

 

Navigating the twisted labyrinth of the creative mind, I journey inside myself to the world of the fantastic: a sacred place where dreams and nightmares come to call. Magical tales and adventurous quests to transcendental otherworldly places awaken my imaginative faculties and I am completely drawn in by the tales that are coming to me unbidden.

As I go bravely into the unknown, I relinquish control and allow the work to lead the way. I close my eyes and a mystical gateway to inner realms of the subconscious reveals itself, beckoning me to enter.

 

Supernatural beings, winged guardians and underworld deities coalesce in magical, heavenly realms and epic dreamscapes. Ethereal figures of feminine beauty are juxtaposed against dark femme fatales of the macabre in visually-compelling, provocative ways.

 

A powerful and robust playground for the mind ensues, leaving me spellbound and wanting more. For those who are willing to take part in the pictorial drama, transcendental experiences await.

The Figure of the Imagination project is currently in progress and has produced a plethora of story-driven works, including visual journals, sketchbooks, studies, paintings, sculptures, musical scores and sound elements. The multi-media project will be featured in a new book. A series of lectures, inspirational music to paint with, an illustrated sketchbook, notecard sets, creative writing journals, a motivational calendar and so much more are also in the works. I hope to someday have a major traveling exhibition of the work as a whole.
